Telephone compliance
Do Not Call Policy
GrowthDesk VA places outbound calls for its own business development and for approved client campaigns. This written policy explains how we receive, record and honor do-not-call requests. It is published online and is available on request.
1. How to ask us to stop calling
You do not need to give a reason. Provide the telephone number that should be suppressed by any of these methods:
- Tell the caller during a call.
- Email hello@growthdeskva.com.
- Call +1 307 910 0023.
- Write to the business address at the end of this policy.
2. What happens after a request
- We record the number and request date.
- We honor the request within ten business days and aim to apply suppression the same day.
- Where GrowthDesk VA controls the calling system, we suppress every matching record available to us.
- Where a client controls the system, we stop the active campaign contact, notify the client and require the client to apply the suppression in its system.
- We retain the request for at least five years.
GrowthDesk VA also maintains a central suppression record for numbers that have asked GrowthDesk VA not to call. A request made to us does not add a number to the National Do Not Call Registry. You can register separately at donotcall.gov.
3. List screening
Before a covered campaign begins, lists must be screened against the do-not-call registries and internal suppression lists that apply to that campaign. Where the federal safe-harbor procedure applies, the National Do Not Call Registry version used for screening must be no more than 31 days old. State lists and narrower client rules are also applied where required.
4. Identification and calling hours
The caller gives their name, identifies the business on whose behalf the call is made, explains the reason for the call, and provides a telephone number or address where that business can be reached.
Calls are never scheduled outside 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM in the called person’s local time. A state law, client instruction or campaign rule may impose a narrower window, and the narrower rule controls.
5. Recording and monitoring
If a call may be recorded or monitored, the caller provides the required disclosure and obtains consent where required. See our Call Recording and Monitoring Notice.
6. Training and oversight
Personnel receive do-not-call training before placing covered calls. Supervisors review compliance, and a failure to record or honor a request is escalated for immediate correction.
7. Report a repeat call
If you asked us to stop and received another call, email hello@growthdeskva.com with the number called and the approximate date. We will investigate and confirm the applicable suppression.
